Teen Bible Quiz (TBQ)

What is Teen Bible Quiz?

• Interactive discipleship ministry for teens 7-12th grade.
• Each year we set out to memorize and study portions of the Bible.
• Quiz meets are held at various churches to test their ability to memorize and understand God’s Word.

What do we do?

• Participate in a Bible Study each week
• Hold each other accountable for studying the Scripture
• Fellowship with other teens in a Christ centered environment
• Memorize Scripture and study the Word with other teens in our church and from other churches.

What are the competitions like?

• Teens are paired up with teams who have memorized the same portions of material so they can quiz at their own ability level.
• We encourage fellowship, teamwork, and Scripture memorization
• The competitions are relaxed and fun. Keeping Jesus the main focus and encouraging humility.
• The quizzing competition is the tool used to help motivate teens to continue to study God’s Word.

What else does Bible Quiz offer?

• Builds confidence in communication skills.
• Increases the brain’s ability to memorize and retain information.
• Teaches apologetics and critical thinking.
• Encourages personal goal setting and instills perseverance.
• Post graduate scholarship opportunities.
