Groups @ OBC

God designed us for relationships; we were never intended to do life alone. We believe that through the intentional and deeper connections made in smaller groups, we grow together in our walk with Christ. Open Bible Church has many groups meeting weekly in classrooms, homes, coffee shops, restaurants, parks, and the list goes on. There is something for people in every stage of life. These groups gather to encourage one another, discuss life, have fun, read scripture, pray, learn, mentor, and push each other to go deeper in our walk with Christ. With so many amazing groups to choose from, we know that there is a group with which you can do life!

Not sure which type of group is right for you?

Each type of group is designed with a different focus in mind, so you can find the one that best fits your season of life, time availability, and your spiritual journey.

If you desire a space where you can study Scripture, share life deeply, and grow in authentic community, a Life Group may be right for you. Rooted in the early church model, these groups bring people together for fellowship, prayer, and spiritual transformation with a medium level of commitment.

And if you’re ready for a higher level of commitment and an intentional path of spiritual maturity, accountability, and leadership development, a Discipleship Group (D-Group) might be right for you. These small, gender-specific groups focus on going deeper in faith and learning how to live as a disciple who makes disciples.

Click around in the categories above to see what we’re currently offering. No matter which group you join, you’ll find a place to connect, grow, and walk more closely with Christ.
